Very entertaining evening at the Vale Royal Writers Group meet at the Blue Cap Inn, Sandiway, last night. Guest author, Alan Calder, came along and gave a very interesting and insightful talk on how he put his first published novel, 'The Stuart Agenda' together as well as the process he went through to get published. Fair to say everyone was rapt and came away inspired! Plenty of food for thought also on the art of getting published in a world where all the rules on the subject are changing rapidly.
